For this project, we are looking to have an [login to view URL] "emulator" built as a front-end system to submit into our CDGGateway service.
Let me explain how we would like this to work. Currently, when a customer signs up with us for a merchant account they must select either [login to view URL] or CDGGateway as their payment gateway.
[login to view URL] is compatible with just about 100% of all 3rd party billing apps and shopping carts, but CDGGateway is more cost effective. However, the interface API's are a little different for both.
Thus, we would like a front-end PHP or Perl script to be made which will:
a) Translate incoming Authorize.Net-formatted transaction requests from 3rd party apps into CDGGateway format and submit them
b) Translate the response from CDGGateway into an Authorize.Net-formatted transaction response, back to the 3rd party app
This emulator script would be installed on the same server as CDGGateway and merely be a front-end "translator"/"emulator" for it.
Once done... any 3rd party app should be able to interface with us using their AuthNet-compliant specs with only the need to change the POST-TO URL.
For more details on AuthNet API, you can visit:
( The AIM method is likely the most important one to integrate. )
For more details on CDGGateway, you can visit:
( click on CDGGateway Login, use test gateway ID: 20226
and test pass: 123456 then click on Merchant Toolkit
for the HTML integration etc.)
When completed, as proof-of-completion, we would like to see a common shopping cart, like osCommerce, be able to plug right into CDGGateway via this AuthNet emulator front-end.
