This is new website that will mimic the functionality of loopnet.com. Major differences are: no user subscriptions. All users will see all listings. Users will have to login and have a profile to search listings. Listings are entered for free. There will be a rigorous screening of user entered data. As user enters his listing, he will be presented with additional options to take them from a free listing to a paid listing (ie: 1 picture free, each additional 50c.) The site will have to be build in such a way that additional services for listings can be bought, subscribed to at any time and they will show up as additional link on the listing itself. The search are will be expanded to allow for search by street number, street name , neigborhood, county , state, country. Geocoding will be required for each listing. Additional services that users will be able to subscribe to are (to list a few), additional pictures, virtual tours, 800-number, closing services, Google earth, mapquest, transaction handling, and others and those will be added as they are created or contracted for with outside vendors. There will need to be an ability for users to select a template for their listings (one of the services). There will need to be an upload service where a company will be able to mass upload listings to the database.
