I'm looking for an experienced WordPress coder to create either a desktop application, or more likely a PHP script that "clones" an existing blog, ready for install elsewhere. It will do this by outputting a file for download, [url removed, login to view]
The file [url removed, login to view] will be the same as used in the current wp-admin/includes file version of WordPress, but I do not want it to have any of the standard WordPress first post, categories and links.
When run on an existing blog this application/script will create the file [url removed, login to view] and that file will contain the tags, categories, pages and posts, activated plugins and options of the blog it's been run on.
All the posts should be set to future publish at intervals of 2 days.
The username will be taken from the normal WP install screen.
After running this application and downloading the [url removed, login to view] file the intention is to be able to set up a clone of the original blog, with all the posts, tags and categories intact and the future publishing data on the posts already set.
I've tried to give as much detail as possible for this project. If anyone has any questions please ask me and I'll give as much detail in the reply as I can.
Preference will be given to
a) experienced WordPress developers
b) anyone who takes the time to read this post and ask pertinent questions.
