Need help with OSCommerce website repair.
This problem occurs intermittently, happened probably 6 times in the last four weeks.
When customer places order, the order does not show up in OSCommerce Admin. Panel under Customer's Orders. In addition, the customer does not receive a confirmation email, and I do not receive my email notification that an order has been placed. However, the customer's info such as name, address, phone number, etc. does show up in Admin. Panel under Customers account listing. I have to call the customer to find out what they ordered, if I can find them in the list of my customers. Easy to do by name, if their email address contains their name. Difficult to do if I have to search by date of order.
I find out about the missing order being placed either by going into my Verisign account and finding a credit card order processed, but it is not in Admin. Panel, or by receiving a phone call from customer that their credit card account has been charged, but they never received their order.
This problem is not specific to one particular credit card company, because it has occurred with three different companies. It appears to be either a glitch in the website, or occurs when the customer does some particular keystroke similar to using Back button when they should not.
