Since it's inception, some users have complained about recieving "jumbled" emails instead of HTML emails. Additionally, the overall appearance of the newsletter is less than professional. We need a coder to create an email template that has a very professional appearance and loads properly in all major email clients. Additionally, it's HTML must be well formed and w3c compliant. Template Components: 1. Template header 2. Markup for common content formats 3. Template footer Final deliverables will include: 1. Non-commented, "for use" template related files. 2. Commented template files outlining the function of each section of the template and "correct usage" instructions for those adding content to it. 3. The winning bidder must be a talented graphical artist as well as have a very good knowledge of creating well formed, compliant HTML (or really, XHTML). Since artistic skill is vital to the success of this project, serious bidders please include 1-3 mockups. Feel free to watermark "sample" over submissions. My satisfaction with the project is the sole criteria on which I base the descision to continue. A project that is 99% completed is of no use to my company and therefore I reserve the right to terminate this project at any time for any reason. If the project is terminated before completion the coder will retain all rights to the work created. Payment for the project is in exchange for ownership of all works created.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
