MySQL and Radius

Currently using, Cistron version 1.6.6 Slackware 9.1 Kernel 2.4.22 We just recently started to go with a wholesale dialup. Our radius does PAP. We now need to add CHAP. CHAP does not use the system files. Wish here was a program to add to the users file that would. I was told the best thing to do was to add mySQL and PHP to our server. This I did and both are running. I was told to go to freeRadius. I did download this and compile with no error and have it installed in a different PREFIX to allow testing so not to interfere with the current radius running because the server is in production. I need examples and setup help to get the CHAP authentication databases developed and working with mySQL. Here is what the radius users file has now to get CHAP working, and allow our not the fastnet service. user Auth-Type = Local, Password = "password" Slipstream-Auth = "true", (This Slipstream is false for those not getting it) Fall-Through = Yes I need to have the database updated when the system files are updated and able to be used by radius at the time the update is made. Same when we remove or lock access or need to change Slipstream-Auth to false. If we remove an account from the system file, the database needs to be also updated. Small perl script can be incorporated with a system call from the other program. I have scripts that when a user account is deleted from the system files, and need a small perl or something to update or remove the user information from the database also. The updating of the database can be later, just need to get the rest on-line.
