For a website we are developing there is a form with a post script that is used for uploading both an audio and video file. We intend to provide a maximum combined file size upload limit of 20 MB. When an audio and video file are uploaded a module associated with Flowplayer converts the video to flv and the audio is also converted. When we upload a file of smaller combined file size approx 0 to 14 MB the upload is successful no problems conversion works, success message is posted to user front end and file is posted to artists table for viewing. The problem presents when we are uploading a larger file size of approximately 14 to 20mb. When we upload a larger file we have traced and verified that the upload completes, we are not certain if the conversion completes. For an unknown reason the php script does not give a success message on the front end and the file does not get linked to the artist table. *Based on our troubleshooting we believe that the PHP script is working however we think there may be a problem occurring during conversion. *It is essential that individual troubleshooting have a very strong linux / Fedora background so that if there is a codec converter installation problem that can be troubleshot via console.
