We need a Wordpress Plugin created where it communicates with [url removed, login to view] via XML.
We need it to automatically (via Cron Job) aggregate the events from a specific Venue and format all the necessary data onto a page so a person can create an event for that specific Venue via [url removed, login to view] - from there the wordpress plugin will through a cron job or some other form of automatic aggregation, will pull new events created through the XML and make a post out of the data for each new event. Obviously, this needs to have some sort of event dupe protection functionality so it doesn't duplicate event posts. We need it to also be able to import pictures as well, and video (not sure if this is doable within the XML documentation, I believe it is though, they're urls in the XML file itself atleast). All of this will be done through their XML. I can send XML Documentation once bids are made so you can wrap your head around the functionality of it. We would also like it to contain CSS legend documentation and documentation walkthrough of your plugin as to describe where I can edit your wordpress plugin from there if need be for custom modifications.
We need it to work entirely with The Events Calendar Wordpress Plugin in the sense of plugging in the date/time , venue name / event name , etc. when it's creates the post after pulling from the WantTickets XML.
(1) Create Event manually through WantTickets.com -> (2) ticket information gets pulled through XML via Cron Job to Wordpress Site, posts are created automatically with the data contained in the XML file automatically -> (3) while the post is being made, The Events Calendar plugin fields will be filled out with this data -> (4) since Eventbrite (another Event ticket site) automatically works with The Events Calendar wordpress plugin by default through the API, it contains custom fields for ticket price / name information to be filled out specifically for Eventbrite, these fields will also need to be set so an Eventbrite event is created on the fly as well. The plugin will create the post and then the process will be finished, and it needs to check WantTickets XML every 60 minutes or so via cron job (hopefully).
All of this will be done simply by adding an event to WantTickets and the Wordpress Plugin you create will do the rest.
We need this functionality ASAP. It should be doable in theory looking at the documentation of the API and given the flexibility of the Wordpress and their plugins I'm sure something could be figured out in terms of making this work. Thanks guys
