Hello coders:
Project: PHP search of (non-geocoded) mySQL data and plot real estate listings on a Google Map using the GoogleMap API.
Seach across 2 tables (Residential and Commercial) for matches.
Allow user to view results based on their search either on map or results page. Pagination based on users request (i.e.- view 5, 10, 20, 50 results per page).
I can provide mySQL table layouts and sample data.
Search page example attached.
Any sample work we can view would be great.
We are looking for something similar to the search page at [[login to view URL]][1].
We already have our site up and running at [[login to view URL]][2],
but want to add a "view on map" search results page.
Also looking for some support on mySQL select queries to search both tables at the same time. Currently we are having the visitors select Residential or Commercial, but not both.
Much of the database doesn't change, however our tables are emptied and reloaded every night.
We will need the script to geocode the 2 tables (residential and commercial) each night with use of a free geocode service or geocode on the fly, but our concern is speed of loading results on map. Perhaps a new table with geocode info with a script looping our data for changes?
We have close to 3000 listings. We are ok with limiting search results on the map for speed. Centering and zoom to results.
We don't have alot of money for this project nor do we need a whole website. Just a search page and results page needed.
