Implement Website using existing web design (Convert PSD to Code) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We recently had a graphic designer create a website design for us, which we now need coded up and implemented based on the photoshop source files we were given. We will give the freelancer we pick access to these design source files. Some screenshots of the website design are attached to this brief. When you are done (and we have approved a live demo) we will give you access to an AWS EC2 instance where you can deploy the website. The website has the following requirements: - mobile device compatibility - responsive design for desktops, tablets and mobiles (or more) - NOTE: structure the responsive design as you see fit from the desktop design, we are still hassling the designer for the tablet and mobile psd files... - facilitate content editing - use a dynamic stylesheet language ([login to view URL] preferred) - all code commented (especially where content could be variable) - develop using a revision control system with bug tracking capabilities, such as github or bitbucket (private repo shared with us) - performance optimised - minified code (but provide us with source files as well) - images compressed appropriately (CSS sprites technique preferred, but optional) - coding standard requirements - W3C valid HTML 5 and CSS 3 - SEO semantic coding - CSS reset (i.e. Eric Meyer) - animations - dropdown submenus on top navigation bar - carousel elements automatically slide periodically, and when arrows are pressed - change on rollover for links and buttons - smooth scroll when links reference an anchor on the same page - integrate with [login to view URL] helpdesk system - provide css to make [login to view URL] consistent with the main design - optional - optimise for retina displays - you can utilise a framework such as Twitter Bootstrap if you prefer - use advanced semantic data standards like microformats or [login to view URL] Please ask if you need anything clarified.
