Ok, so I'm doing this fullscreen gallery-site for a photographer.
It's a customized version of the Galleria-script ([url removed, login to view]) built onto wordpress. I've been able to tie it together and wrap most of it up but there are some jquery/css bugs that I need help solving.
To get a basic idea of how the site is built you can check out the dev-installation at paulin.andreasrunsten.se.
The things that are not working properly are (I'm going to try explain this as in depth as I can):
1. When a user first enters the site the whole interface shows for a short while and then hides through a timeout. Only problem is that if the user hovers over one of the interfaces before the timeout is over the interface will hide anyway and then come right back. If possible I would like to have a function that recognizes if the interface is "active" and then terminates the auto-hide. Then ones the user hovers the image-area it will hide.
2. When you hit the overview-button in the bottom right corner you get an overview drawer. The idea is to be able to bring that up, browse through the thumbnails and then if you move your mouse over the image, the drawer should temporarily hide along with the interface. This doesn't work correctly though. It's very buggy and if you hover back and forth it will go wild and just jump up and down. I would like to have this fixed somehow.
3. Because the gallery is based on anchored thumbnails I have an issue with the list of thumbnails briefly appearing before the gallery-script kicks in. I've been trying to do an initial hide using classes but that hasn't helped, maybe you know a solution to this?
