Looking for a PHP expert who’s got great MySQL database optimization skills, good working knowledge of the Google Maps API, and knows how to optimize PHP, HTML, and CSS to reduce webpage loading times. You should have familiarity with such tools like the Chrome Page Debugger (so you can measure page load times), and know how to use database tools to find slow queries.
You need to be able to analyze database queries for slow downs, utilize tools to find bottlenecks (such as Neor Profile SQL--[url removed, login to view]), etc.
The coder who made the script will be reachable by email and can help walk you through the code or field any questions you have regarding the algorithms

==THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE==
To drastically increase the page loading speed of [url removed, login to view] – specific pages and the homepage. YOU MUST bring the page loading times down from about 15 seconds on average to LESS than 5 seconds (I'm expecting 3 seconds or less). This is the requirement of the job and you must complete that. Don't bother bidding if you can't commit to that. IF you can bring the page loading times down to about 1 second, there will be a bonus payment for you.
Currently there are only about 4000 or so entries on the database (so the data size itself should not be the main issues for the slow page loading times). The past few months there has been some sort of bottleneck that’s been slowing the page loading times down.
Currently, the homepage ([url removed, login to view]) takes between 10-15 seconds to load. Some of the individual pages (i.e. [url removed, login to view]) take between 15 to 20 seconds to load. This is clearly unacceptable. I need someone to fix the load time issue and bring the page loading down to 1-3 seconds, which should be possible. You may have to re-write some of the PHP code, optimize the database queries, implement cache solutions, or come up with some other code trickery to increase the speeds. It could be an easy fix though if you find some serious bottlenecks.
I’ve analyzed the issues and there seem to be two bottle necks, each separate issues that are causing the slow loading pages.
Google Map Loading Issue / Bottleneck.
It seems the code dealing with the Google Maps is very slow. According to the Chrome debugger, the page itself takes under 2 seconds to load, but around 10-15 second calls are made to the Google Maps API. I need this speed issue fixed.
MySQ: Database Query Bottleneck
Accessing specific pages are very slow. For example: [url removed, login to view]
It takes 15-25 seconds to run the PHP scrip on the above page. This needs to be fixed.
Unoptimized PHP Code
You might need to check for inefficiencies in some of the PHP code. This could be contributing to the slowdown.
Tweaking Dedicated Server for Faster Load Times
You will also tinker with some of the server settings to maximize speeds. I’ve switched servers to a fast dedicated server, so it’s not the server issues that are causing the slow loading time it is the code.
