I need several modifications made to an osDate script. I am running the latest version ([url removed, login to view]). This script uses the smarty templating engine, and the programmer should have at least a basic working knowledge of smarty, although most of what needs to be done will not involve the smarty engine. The site can be viewed at: [url removed, login to view] and here is the list of the modifications I'm looking to have made:
The files used in displaying profiles and profile information include: [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] and several other nickpage_ files, as called on. The files I believe require modification are : [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view], also 2 admin pages. There are probably 1 or 2 more, but I do not know which they are.
I am currently using: signup_username and signup_userlastname for the "cheaters name fields, and I am using: signup_firstname and signup_lastname for the fields of the user who is posting the information.
Here is how I would like the script to function.
I want to add a "Search by State" field in the [url removed, login to view] file. I have been able to add the field, but cannot properly get it to query and match against the database. I also want the state query to be optional, where a user can either search a single state or all states. I would also like it to be a drop down choice tab as is done on the signup page. This is done in the [url removed, login to view] and the [url removed, login to view] pages. Should be really easy to fix.
For the ""Register Now function, The user should be required to choose their membership level first, at the beginning of the signup process, then move on to personal information and profile details. Last it should allow them to upload photos as part of the signup process, instead of having to wait for approval to add photo's, or upgrade their membership at a later time.
I have created fields where the poster inputs the cheaters first and last name of who they are placing the profile on. I am currently using signup_username and signup_userlastname for the cheaters name fields. The signup_userlastname needs to be added to the database and the field in [url removed, login to view] needs to insert the data. The last name should be required, but not listed in profiles displayed. Or if possible, I would like only the first initial of the cheaters last name to display in profiles. I also need the signup verification to compare first and last names against existing users. Right now it compares against first name only and will not allow 2 user signups with the same first name. The script will also not allow more than one signup from the same e-mail address and I would like that removed.
I have added a "Profile Dispute" area in profiles displayed", by creating a [url removed, login to view] and calling it from the nickpage.tpl. There are text boxes to input their first and last name: (signup_username and signup_userlastname), which need to be verified against the database information provided at signup, and if correctly matched, They should be given a field to write a response. This field should allow up to 500 words. I would like this field to be rendered in the profile page, with the text area opening between "Relationship Details"and "Rating" This can probably be done in the [url removed, login to view] file, or maybe even called from nickpage_dispute. There will also need to be a field created in the database for profile disputes.
I would also like disputes to require approval in admin and be editable before becoming available for public viewing. After approval, it should then be displayed between "Relationship Details"and "rating. This can probably be done by creating profile [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] pages in and placing in the admin directory. the creating a link in the admin panelmenu.
