I have created part of a text-editor based GUI.? I have completed around 60% but have run into some problems.
1)? Saving state of the GUI inc JButtons
2)? Drag and Dropping text (complex IMO)
I have to create a GUI based on Maude.? Though no Maude knowledge is needed, as I am able to do this, I just need the Java aspects.
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
ASAP responses if possible.? Thanks
I need to create a GUI to help with Parameterization of maude specifications. Regarding the GUI, i need to create icons (in my case i have created buttons with icon images) which represent maude MODULES, VIEW AND THEORIES. I need to be able to click on an icon, enabling a popup textbox showing the maude specification within them. Eg: [url removed, login to view] (BUTTON) When clicked: Popup JFrame containing JTextArea Within maude spec: mod MYMOD is....endm Now if i have another button say: [url removed, login to view] (BUTTON) same as above with click and jtextarea. I need to be able to drag and drop MYVIEW onto [url removed, login to view] and then a prompt appears asking user if they want to insert... Please ask for questions Then the button [url removed, login to view], will contain info: mod MYMOD is PROTECTING MYVIEW . .. .. .. endm Another aspect i need is to be able to DRAG AND DROP the JButtons onto the MAIN JTextArea. Once done, the JTextArea will show the contents of the JButton. Save state/session of GUI also needed. I have tried Serialization but with regarding JButtons, they don't function after i deserialize. P.S If testing file :- [url removed, login to view] is the main program... [url removed, login to view] relates to button class [url removed, login to view] relates to CustomJButton of new JButtons [url removed, login to view] is SytemTreeview [url removed, login to view] is Drag and drop of files from Jtree onto JTextArea [url removed, login to view] relates to creating new buttons with filename as name of new button
