We are looking for additional Symfony 2 developers to to collaborate on a project that needs initial deployment in January. The project basically involves rebuilding a bespoke online ordering system making user of Symfony 2 and Twitter's Bootstrap. Development so far has seen the Doctrine Entities built around the existing database along with initial work on the public facing area of the site. Two developers are currently working on the project, one on the admin interface, the other on the public facing part. Initial tasks will be on the public facing part but you will need to be flexible to pick up different sections as the need arises.
Full spec and an introduction to the current system will be given once the job is awarded. We require regular delivery of small iterations so expect frequent feedback and the need for lots of tweaking and changes to the code to get the user interface and functionality right.
We're looking for developers to start at the beginning of January or before, offering as close to full time hours throughout January.
We expect a test driven development approach to be taken, with full functional and unit testing code in place making use of Symfony's testing capabilities.
Version controlled is via GIT and the current development repo includes vagrant / puppet config to get you up and running quickly.
Strong written and spoken English is essential.
Please demonstrate your knowledge and experience of the technologies mentioned in your proposal.
