LabVIEW BASIC PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project involves creating a LabVIEW VI using LabVIEW 8.0 Student Edition on a Windows 2000 platform. A black box will be plugged into the COM 1 port on a computer. It will spit out continuous data pertaining to temperature, pressure, voltages, GPS, and time. Some of the data lines received may be good data while others may not. The LabVIEW project must know how to handle the junk data. I will provide the winning bidder with the exact details of what the data lines will look like. The main thing is that you as the developer have to be able to simulate a live data feed into your COM 1 since you do not have access to the black box. You must construct a LabVIEW GUI which will display this information. The finished LabVIEW project must work upon me plugging my "black box" into the COM 1 port of my computer. Sample GUI's must be provided prior to work. I will choose. All coding must be thoroughly detailed! I must be able to replicate/modify what you have created! NOTE: I will be choosing the winning bidder based on price required, projected time to complete the project, and sample GUI's submitted. If you want to be the winning bidder you need to send me samples of your previous work.
