Flash Mute function for .NET windows program

We are developing a desktop application in NET 2.0 (c#). This desktop application includes a Web Browser control. This web browser will be used to navigate video websites (such as google videos and youtube) and therefore typically the user will be visiting pages including videos.

We want our browser to include the option to MUTE the flash player, so that the user can browse these pages (at Google Videos and youtube) and watch the SWF files in them (that is, watch the videos) WITHOUT THE SOUND.

We want our application to include a configuration screen where the user will have the option to mute / unmute the flash player.

We need a way to "intercept" the flash player so as to mute / unmute the flash player without affecting the other programs running in the same machine. For instance, if the user is playing games or listening to online radios (listening to the wave signal), or listening to CDs, etc., these programs should not be affected by our muting / unmuting the flash player running in our application.

We do not require that the solution that achieves this result be written in a particular programming language. We DO need the following:

- That it affects the flash player only, or, even better, only the swf movies running in our application (browser).

- That it can be called from the .NET application. That is, even if the routine or program itself is written in a different language, it should be possible to call it from the .NET (C#) program.

- That it runs in all Windows platforms - or, at least, in Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

This is where we need your help. Can you provide us with this technology?

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
