Add sign-in capability and a Registration and Scores database (mySQL) to an existing flash games webSite (which currently has NO sign-in or registration functionality, calls flash games via Iframes and does not record scores)
users access Home Page, where they can sign in if they already have a userCode/password or they can register by choosing their userCode & Password, which will be stored encrypted in the Registration database
they must also provide a valid e-mail, the webSite will send them an e-mail with a link which they must click on to validate their registration
they also must provide a key question and its answer, which will be stored encrypted in the Registration database. This question will be asked of them if they forget their userCode/password and want to recover them.
2. Menu page/game calling/return
once registered or signed-in, users will see the Menu page, from which they can choose one of 10-15 flash games (existing), by clicking on the game's icon (provided).
when calling a game, the page must pass the userCode to the game (using flash LoadVars class)
when the user exits the game (after playing one or more times), the game returns (using flash LoadVars class) the userCode, the game id, the number of games played and the number of games won, which must be stored in the Registration database
Scores stored in the Registration database can be sorted and queried by the Administrator (using pre-prepared mySQL queries) by different attributes (game id, type of game, best scores, number of games played)
when rolling the mouse over a game icon, the user can see a pop-up with an explanatory text and a list of the N (configurable by Administrator) best players and their scores
add a "contact us" page with emailing capability
No web page design (we use existing templates); no flash programming (games are all functioning)
mySQL installation, configuration and query writing ARE required.
the webSite is installed in a Windows 2003 VPS.
