Last year I had someone create this database for me which I resold to a client. It is fairly simple, it keeps track of their employee information and has four 'modules'. Employee Module contains all the basic employee info such as name, address, wage info, family members etc. The Courses Module keeps track of all the safety and training courses that their employees have taken. The apparel tracking module tracks the clothin allowance they provide to their workers. And lastly the scheduling module provides a method for them to create and maintain their work schedules.
The database has been constructed with a backend that stores all the data and a frontend that allows us to make changes without having to worry about their data. They are linked with a simple built-in functionality.
The database is complete, but they need changes made that are beyond my skill level. The successful bidder will likely receive future work as well.
The changes that need to be made are in the attached .txt document. Some of this will make more sense if you have the db in front of you -- please email me with your credentials if you would like to review the db before you enter your bid. Most of what needs done are simple sorting options.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) .mdb file and .mde file deliverd as per specs above.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Microsoft Access 2000 db. Runs on a novell network. Frontend is stored locally on each workstation. Backend is on a mapped network drive. Most workstations running windows 2000.
