I need a PHP site for booking people online. For my project, it would be booking private teachers, but it could be used later for other business activities. So let's use the word "freelncers" instead of "teachers". The requirements are: a calendar module, showing when the teacher is available. of course, the calendar must have "real-time auto-update" function, so as soon as a teacher is booked the calendar shows it (to keep teacher from being booked several times at same time and date). a payment module, probably Paypal at the very begining, but should have the possibility to easily add other payment methods. -- Front page: explains what service we would propose (in that case, private teaching), simple way to select the topic (maths, language ...) and if it would be "virtual lessons" via the web or "real" lessons at the teacher's place ... -- Teacher's page: brief bio with past experiences, diplomas, area of activity, calendar to show availability (possibility to see daily, weekly and monthly view). It must be impossible to book the teacher when the calendar shows he/she's not available, and possible to book him/her when available. -- Paying section, showing once again what the customer has chosen (name of the teacher, date, length of the lesson, cost ...). I've just done a very simple flowchart for the users (clients) side, feel free to check it.
