We require a web-based proxy that will allow a user to surf the web and access secure web sites (SSL-secured). The proxy should be developed so that it may be deployed on any *nix or Windows web server without modification, and without any special components required to be installed on the server, or required to be accessed over a secure connection. The proxy should hide real user information (e.g. IP address, referrer URL) from the web site being accessed. The proxy should manage cookies, and allow a user to delete cookies at will. The program should also be able to disable scripts, and should show the current URL in a field at the top of the page. The following is a complete list of features required: • Hide the users IP address information from remote web sites • Display as text only (no images) • Ban all cookies • Remove scripts from pages • Hide referrer information from web sites • Insert a small form at the top of the page that lets you enter a new URL, change you options, and manage your cookies • Allow users to select whether or not to allow cookies, scripts, display text only, etc. for a particular session • Allow or ban specific servers • Allow or ban specific IP addresses and ranges from accessing the proxy • Allow posting of forms, redirects, and popups • Allow access to SSL-secured web sites, without being hosted on a secured server • Manage cookies, including deletion of selected or all cookies
