Forum location: [url removed, login to view] Scope of work: 1. In the "public" section (ASAWA), provide a link at the bottom of every post that reads, "Report A Rules Violation." This should only be viewable, or clickable, to members who have logged in, i.e., unregistered members should not be able to click (or alternatively, see) the link. When a registered member clicks the link, that member should be taken to his or her Private Message area. The "To" should be, by default, the Moderators group, which I've already set up. The "Subject" should be, by default, a link to the thread involved (I'd prefer a link to the post, but I don't think that's possible in phpBB). The reporter of the violation would then be able to describe the violation in the body of the message, and click Send. All members of the Moderator group should receive the PM. 2. In the "Filipinas Only" section, which is Private, there should be a similar function, except that the "To" should be, by default, the Filipina Moderators group. Otherwise, it should work the same as the modification above. Link/button should be flush right in the same row as the ICQ, PM, YIM, etc., buttons. If a link, text to be Arial font, sized appropriately, black. If there's a freeware button out there that will look good, I'll consider that, also. I'm open to proposals if coders know of better or simpler ways of achieving the same results. My objective is to allow members who are logged in to the forum to report rules violations easily, and for moderators to learn of rules violations without having to constantly scour the forum or getting individual PMs from distressed members. If you have a better alternative, explain it in detail with your bid. Two modifications have been installed previously. One was a Calendar modification, which added a group Calendar, and the other was a Profile modification, which added Gender and Status as User Profile Options. Both are visible to anyone who visits the forum. Please take those into account when determining whether you can do the work. Bids will be considered based on a combination of: coder's experience with similar modifications; past ratings at Rent-A-Coder; ease/elegance of proposal (the better it looks and operates, the happier our members will be); speed; price. Thanks for your consideration.
