Our website is [[url removed, login to view]] . We sell items with product attributes: PARENT items are each associated with several CHILD items (the children are the items we actually sell).
The site is now set up correctly - i.e. the CHILDREN items are all set to "INACTIVE" status so they correctly display under the parent pages (and not in the general product listing area).
However, we use an order manager that updates Quantity on Hand (inventory levels) in our CRE Loaded / OsCommerce store.
I've run into difficulties with CHILD (sub) products being AUTOMATICALLY activated and deactivated in oscommerce. OsCommerce assumes that we want to make "active" any sub-product that has a stock of more than "0".
So I'd like to disable automatic changing of status based on quantity.
Is there a section of the oscommerce code that can be commented out to accomplish this?
