HTML Form w/ Layer - Validate and Submit

This should be very easy for an expert javascripter.

Note the checkbox that says:

This checkbox toggles the visibility of a set of textboxes that are inside a layer (DIV tag).

This project involves 2 things:

1) OnBlur, each of the Layer Input boxes need validation (required entry - anything).

2) On Submit, the Layer Input boxes need to be included with the standard form elements. IOW, they need to be available to the processing CGI script.

This project does not involve processing the submitted data. I just need validation code for the input boxes that are inside the layer, and I need them to be included in the form submission.

Note that this form is actually variable in size. It is currently hard coded to show entries for 2 subjects. But, it could be several or dozens. That part of the page works. You don't need to do anything with that.

BUT, your validation and form submission needs to support the mulitple entries. (i.e. I each entry has a counter in the input name. txtLastName1, txtLastName2, etc.)

It's ok to copy values from the layer input boxes to hidden controls, if that's a better way to make the form submit work. Just be sure to support the variable number of entries. (I'm currently doing that with ASP by appending a VBscript variable to each name (i.e. txtLastName<% =ctr %>).

If I'm not clear, please ask for clarification.

MUST RUN IN RECENT BROWSER VERSIONS OF BOTH NETSCAPE AND INTERNET EXPLORER.

## Platform

This will be running on a Windows 2003 server with IIS. It includes ASP and Javascript.

It must run in Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers -- as old as possible, but, for example, it's OK if it won't run in version 4 broswers.
