Basic Requirements: Platform - WM5 or WM6 1. Connect to GPS. 2. Load maplibs. The maplibs are divided into several files to lower demand on processor. 3. The software will zoom-in onto the GPS point and load the appropriate maplib. 4. Zoom function are limited to 3 levels - Full Zoom, Zoom To City, Zoom To Street in order to avoid pixelization of the raster images. 5. Load a Point Database "UNDER" the maplib representing points along the [url removed, login to view] point database will be in txt files and will contain the following fields - road name, city, lat, long. 6. The point database will also be cut along the same block as the maplib. 7. Use of the Point Database is for a Query Function. The user can query base on Road Name & City and the software will use the lat,long position and then load the corresponding maplib and then zoom in to street extent. Maximum zoom in is to the street level only. 8. Save POI/Waypoint function. The user has the option to save a certain GPS point to a CSV file with name,type,lat,long field for POI and lat,long for Waypoint streem. This POI/Waypoint file can then be loaded again into map for his reference. 9. Labels of road names will be created only for the map portion seen in the screen. The road name will come from the Point [url removed, login to view] is done in the hope of improving speed in panning/zooming. 10 Function to "Rotate" the maplib based on compass direction from the GPS data stream. The user will always see his position as "north" based on his direction from the GPS Compass function. If not selected then the map will be oriented North. Note://note enough space. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
