3D Game Studio Character AI

This is a project for someone with some experience with 3D Game Studio ( [url removed, login to view] ) programming or significant experience with AI in another package. I beleive everything that you need to complete is actually doable with just the demo version. I do not recommend that you tackle this one if you do not have the experience, even if you want to learn ... it will take to much time to get up to speed *sorry* :{ That said if you have had a little experience then it should be quite easy for you

Here are the criteria:

Can be assinged to any humanoid character - use [url removed, login to view] that comes with the demo

Upon loading the character walks to the nearest path node and begins walking whatever path it belongs to.

When the player gets into range of cbabe ( have this range adjustable in cbabe's skill set ) then cbabe will leave the path and chase after the player. She should run at the same top speed as the player. If she touches then the player dies. If they reach a wall then they should turn and run along the side of it until they can reach the player again, in a realistic fashion.

Please set up a level for yourself that has lots of boxes to navigate around, narrow hallways and the like. There should be no bounching back and forth down hallways or getting stuck or vibrating against walls.

If the player goes out of range cbabe goes back to walking again.

Use the generic animation seq that come with cbabe:

walking when following path

running when chasing

standing after touching/killing player

And this last part is VERY important:

Please test very carefully that if you put mutiple cbabe's in the scene that they all behave properly and independent of eachother.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
