The project involves development of a Drupal 7 theme for company extranet. Some of the functionality of the extranet is being developed as custom modules while the rest of it will be provided by publicly available D7 modules. The site features document library, FAQ pages, "Ask the Expert" module, Glossary of Terms, RSS newsfeeds and a few static pages. The site offers a small number of publicly accessible pages (i.e. home page, registration/login pages) and the rest of the content will be accessible only to registered (logged in) users.
The developer will first need to produce JPEG visuals of the site before progressing with the theme development. The content of the site is largely textual with only a few graphical elements (i.e. icons and stock photographs). The UI requirements are simple but you will still need to pay attention to detail. I will be able to provide a few screenshots that depict the desired look and feel of the site so the developer will only need to follow those guidelines.
The theme must be delivered (packaged) in a way to allow point-and-click installation via Drupal admin interface. Ideally, the developer should have some UI design experience.
Also, while I worked with a number of CMS apps in the past, this is my first Drupal project and I will need some online help with putting the site together (i.e. creating views and panels). I expect this to take no more than 7-8hrs of developer's time.
As part of the selection process I'll be assessing your previous work so please submit your portfolios, especially if you've done application interface design work. I'm happy to answer any questions so, if you need clarification about the project requirements or scope, please ask before bidding.
