Objective: To build a simple, well designed and functional pre-paid calling card website. Sections on the website: - Public - Secure Customer Control Panel - Secure Admin Control Panel Public: 1. This area will be the main website. 2. Email and phone verification for new users. 3. Shopping cart 4. Payment methods (Credit Card, Paypal,2Checkout,GoogleCheckout) 5. After payment, user should immediately receive PIN numbers via E-Mail. PIN numbers should also be made available in customer's order history 6. Simple review/rating system for a card. 7. Invite a friend Customer Control Panel: 1. User authentication for logins. 2. Order history in a simple format. 3. Change Password 4. Edit Account Information (Name, Address, Billing address, Phone, credit card info) Admin Control Panel: 1. Add different calling cards 2. Description and image. 3. Load PIN numbers per calling card product. 4. Inventory of # of PINs loaded, sold, and in stock. 5. Be able to look at customer orders. 6. Other features which can be discussed later. I am currently using OSCommerce and have installed Virtual Unique PINs module (Found here: [url removed, login to view],3883). It already has functionality of loading PIN numbers, keeping inventory and etc. But it has the following limitations: 1. Only PayPayl payment method available. 2. After payment made on PayPal, if user does not return to original site, the PIN number does not get delivered. 3. The order history is confusing and not formatted right. 4. Basically the look and feel need to be a bit customized from OsCommerce cart to an actual pre-paid calling card website. So better and simpler design. It is up to you whether you want to improve the existing setup on Oscommerce or you can build something specific to a pre-paid calling card website.
