Well, this is for the bingo game editor. The guy I risked assigning it to failed to do anything on it, so I am asking if you want to do it. Here is the description I posted before This should be relatively simple. I would like an editor for a bingo game. The output of the editor is an executable bingo game (either an .exe or something I can load to a website and people can play as a flash or javascript app). You are not coding a bingo game itself. The output of the editor is a bingo card executable. The executable should allow the user to randomize the squares, click on squares as tehy get called out. However, the squares will also be right-clickable. Right clicking brings up a little window, with text about the square which may include a hyperlink. It should also allow the user to print out bingo cards. The editor is simply a table. One column will have the picture or text that should be in each square. The next column will have the text that will come up when you right click on a square. As an example, I use the editor to make an executable with pictures or animals, or just the word like "dog". The kid walks around a zoo with his bingo card that he printed from the executable (or with a laptop or i-phone) and left clicks on the square as he passes the correct animal. He can right click on any square to get information about that animal. The editor can be used to make bingo out of anything. The editor should allow me to specify how big the bingo card will be in the executable. If there are more entries in the table than there are squares in the bingo card, then it should know to fill it randomly from all the available entries. Also I am sending you three files (zipped): Descriptions to follow

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

some notes on the files.. .

The first file, Bingo [url removed, login to view], is what I am expecting the 'live' bingo game to look like. There should be a randomly placed "free space" and when you left click on a square it should put a red X there. If there is a full row or column 'X'd out, then the software should signal that the player has won, with some sort of graphic, or just the words "you won!" across the board.

When you right click on a square a description, with hyperlinks in it should appear. There should be an area next to the bingo grid where the last right clicked thing can be detailed. The live version does not have to have little numbers next to each picture. Note, the numbers are in order here, but I do not expect them to be in order for a random bingo card. but if its easier to always have the numbers in order (and then rearrange the descriptions in the booklet) that is fine too.

The file, "12 page animal [url removed, login to view]" is what I am hoping the booklet will look like. I used 12 pages only because that was a template I had. There should only be enough pages as space requires. The first page should just be the bingo card with little number next to each picture. The pictures should be randomly located of course. The remaining pages are dedicated to printing the description of each picture. Since its a hard copy, I would like the hyperlinks listed below each description.

Perhaps it would be good to enumerate each hyperlink in the description text like "DOG [1] is an animal...".

Note there are more items described than there are boxes for pictures. The game should know to maximize the grid to include as many entries as possible without having empty boxes. however all the descriptions should be able to be read even if there is not a corresponding box.

The final file, bingo editor [url removed, login to view] is what I am hoping the editor will look like. The first column is simply a row number, the second column is what the player will see in each box. It will be a picture I will copy and paste into there. Or if I can make it text and choose the text color, font size and background color, that would be cool too.

The third column is the descriptions. The descriptions will always be text and may contain hyperlinks. I would like it if I could just hyperlink the text, like in word (then I can copy and paste from various websties), rather than rewriting all the text in html.

The fourth column is optional. It intended it to be there for a list of hyperlinks that appears in the booklet after each decription. I would rather that the editor fill this column by stripping out the hyperlinks from the description text all on its own. If this column is not necessary for you to make this program work, then you dont need to include it.

BTW: I had to use the "expert Guarantee" feature because I have posted this request twice, both times failing to get the coder to follow through.

OK, I thought of something that may make this a bit easier to do (after discussion with a coder).

If we get rid of the requirement to have this work on-line. then both the editor and the player can be purely a PC executable (.exe)

I can post the [url removed, login to view] online for people to download.

Then the editor would simply make datafiles (say... a .bng file) that the player would read. I could post these on-line also. No flash, No javascript. The datafiles would include all the relevant information from the editor, the pictures, the hyperlinked descritpions and so forth.

I realize that makes it lose cross platform functionality. At this point i dont care. I just want to get this coded.

Other simplifications:

the bingo cards may only be 5x5, no other sizes if this makes the project easier.

hyperlink stripping for the last column in the editor: not necessary, I just thought it would be easier to make the bingo pamphlet that way.

## Platform

I dont really care if it works on macs, the editor program must work on a PC and I would prefer it to be a .exe I had originally hoped that the bingo game could be played directly on-line as a flash. It is now OK if the perosn just downloads a bingo 'player' that requires a bingo configuration file that would include data to fill the bingo card. If this embodiment is chosen then it is OK if it just works on PCs.
