460790 Wikipedia Utility

This project is for a small utility that will create references, footnotes (or "Notes") and external links for wikipedia pages. It will have a field where the user can paste a pre-existing block of text. When the user places their cursor at a point in the text, and then right-clicks on it, they should see a context menu that will offer them the option to "Add Footnote", or "Add reference", "add external link", etc.. If an external link is created, it should be added to the bottom of the text, just like they are displayed when editing on wikipedia. It should have a right-click option that will allow the user to copy the text to the clipboard, or save as a text file to a specified directory, and allowing the user to name the text file. When they select either of these, a GUI appears that will let the user enter a URL in one field, and a field where they put the text to display, creating a link compatible with the wikipedia format. It will also create references for "Further Reading", "See Also", and allow the user to create headings, defined by two equal signs on each side of the heading's name (ex. ==External links== ~or~ ==Further Reading== ~or~ ==Bibliography==). This software will get larger as time passes, so you must submit your source code as part of the project. After the project is complete, you will be the first one revisions of the software will go to. If you understand wikipedia well enough to add other functions commonly used on ordinary wikipedia pages, please mention it in your bid. The interface must look clean and modern, and the app must run on XP, Vista, and Win7. NOTE: I have posted projects in the past that got bids in the thousands of dollars, but were completed for just a few bucks. Please be competitive in your bidding.
