We have a web-based customer management tool. Our customers would like to be able to integrate this tool with
Microsoft Word mail merge functionality.
We know this is possible because there are several products that do this same exact thing.
Normally, all the customer information is stored on the web server and is accessed by a browser. We need a MS Word plug in that allows the web application to load data into MS Word directly so that people can do mail merges in MS Word. The web application talks to MS Word via a plug in.
The mail merge processing is done in Word itself. The web application would simply provide the necessary database fields to Word (see attached design file)
We have a web programmer who can help with the web development on the server, but the project leadership, plugin design, and testing would be handled by you.

Please send a sample MS Word plug in you have developed to demonstrate your experience in this area.
1) Complete and fully-functional working plugin to MS Word in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition.
3. A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
