If you know ThinkPads, you know the TrackPoint navigation device and the ability to scroll up and down by moving the pointing stick while holding the center button.
I, and many other people, would like to be able to use that center button as a standard mouse middle click button while keeping the ThinkPad built-in scrolling functionality.
So, basically, we need someone to write a Windows program to intercept presses on that button and map a double click event on that button to a standard mouse middle click.

The TrackPoint driver is made by Synaptics. And these guys provide API to help developers interact with their devices.
