I need a Symbian series 60 3rd edition program (one executable file) that will protect my sis file application from being installed to a phone with IMEI number different than the IMEI I allow the application to be installed on.
In other words, the program should be able to retrieve the IMEI number of the phone during installation, compare it to the 15 digit IMEI number encrypted inside the program and if it does match then the program will unlock the main installation file ([url removed, login to view]) by changing the hex value at 3 offset addresses of [url removed, login to view] (3 hex values) and then run cons.exe. if it doesn't match then nothing is done and the program will continue running cons.exe.
In the attached file you will find an example sis application that can retrieve the 15 digit IMEI number of the phone and another file is [url removed, login to view], which is the main installation file of my application.
As of now, if [url removed, login to view] is installed then no error message will show up but by not changing the 3 hex values inside [url removed, login to view], my application will not run properly eventhough it can be installed without any problem.
I'm also open to suggestion if you have any other protection mechanism that can protect my application.
Please contact me if you need further explanation. Thank you
