I need a simple, yet highly professional 'to do list' program. This windows software will be used to manage a list of tasks that need to be completed. Features include...
Adding new tasks. Including title and optional notes & category.
Specifying due date
Add reminder. Including time and date.
Add sound for reminder.
Set priority level (low, normal, high)
Manage categories. Add, edit, or delete category names.
THe main screen will be a list of all tasks. There are 6 columns: completed check box, task title, priority, category icon, reminder icon, and due date.
There should be a drop down to switch between categories and a drop down to short the tasks by due date, priority, category.
When tasks are completed they are moved to the standard 'completed' category or sorted to bottom of list if viewing all categories. Completed tasks are grayed and a line through them.
There should be buttons to add, remove, settings. THere should be a right hand scroll bar if list is long.
THe app should have a nice looking skin and preferably have the option to switch between multiple skins.
Below the list should be a "Notes" box. When a task is selected the notes box populates with the notes entered for the selected task.
Should be a settings tab that includes: Open Upon Startup, Minimize on Start, Always on Top, Skins, Sort By.
There needs to be a one time user registration option, where the first time the app opens the users MUST register by entering their name, email, and checking an optional "Receive email updates" box. This reg process should use a HTML newsletter sign up form I have. So you must incorporate my signup code to send the registration to my newsletter script.
There should be a top menu including file, settings, and about screen.
Please download the demo at <[url removed, login to view]>. I basically need an app real similar to that. This is a very simple project and should be delivered within 10 days of starting.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
