My computer monitor has a rather dark picture, so whenever I use certain applications I have to brighten the screen useing software color correction (the monitor controls dont help enough). I do this through my NVIDIA detonator video driver. Every time I activate the color correction I must right click on an icon on the right of my taskbar (which brings up a menu), click on "custom color settings" (which brings up a submenu), then click on the "game mode" color settings I have configured. Ideally I would like a script that could automate this proccess which I could assign a keyboard hotkey to. The keyboard driver can do this, but needs an executable file to bind the key to. First off, I am currious if something like this is doable. Maybe by either directly accessing the setting in the NVIDIA driver, or by making a script that somehow could auto-navigate the taskbar without disrupting any current full screen applications? If this is doable, how would it be best accomplished? What language would be best suited to the task? How big a project would it be?
