I am having an incredibly strange problem that I need to get solved as soon as possible. You'd think that displaying a normal dialog box using the Win32 API would be as simple as anything... But no. I have a .rc file containning the actual dialog information, and a C program creating it using CreateDialog. What is happening is that the function returns NULL, but without setting the global error (retrieved with GetLastError) which it is supposed to do according to the documentation. So in short, the handle is NULL and GetLastError reports success. Please help.
