Windows program to poke around the PC and find all programs (by matching a filename pattern such as *.exe given on the command line), and output a list of them along with a bunch of attributes, including: - pathname - all version information - program name, copyright, publisher name - install date - last use date - size - checksum - what else could we get? (Note that the above attributes are all available from the Windows UI if you select a file and choose Properties.) Output should be a CSV (comma-separated, so it can be input to Microsoft Excel etc) file, as well as a local HTML file with a table. One field should be "Search" which invokes a Google search for information about that application.
## Deliverables
1) must have a clean and simple install, and a clean and simple uninstall. (Maybe using Nullsoft Installer?) 2) code should be well documented and clean, e.g., no lines longer than 78 characters, no methods longer than a screen/page, indentation generated programmatically by your editor, nice variable/method names, etc. 3) program should be small, probably be under 100K in total download size. 4) complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
1) Microsoft Windows 98 and newer 2) C++ or C# 3) Developed with Visual Studio 4) Output CSV must be readable by Microsoft Excel 5) Output HTML must be readable by MSIE6
