Examine ASM Code

I am trying to send mouse movements to a particular game with Windows mouse_event function. But this particular game is blocking the mouse emulation of my program; however, I have another program that is NOT being blocked by this game and so I want to discover what is being done differently to avoid being blocked. I only have the ASM code to analyze to learn the difference, but I really do not understand Assembly at all, so I am looking for someone who can analyze the ASM code and help me learn how to defeat the mouse_event blocking like the 2nd app does. I should also mention that this game is blocking not only mouse_event, but also SendInput, SendMessage, and several other APIs, so the difference is certainly not as simple as that.
