What I need is a dll with one method. The method is called compile. That would be a function. If it was successful, then it would return true. If not, then it would return false. It should only return false if it truly could not do it (a conflict for example). When I test it, if it returns false, then I will make sure it also fails when doing it from VB. Here are the properties needed:
2. newpath (the path of the dll or exe)
3. an enum to show whether its a dll or exe
the enum need to be public so I can see the choices
The method would be compile
If the enum is exe but its a dll, then it should raise an error
The dll should be completed in either VB, Delphi, or C++. Would like to know a head of time what language would be used for the dll. Also, need a sample VB application to show how this works. The dll needs to be COM (not Win32). Need to be able to set the properties and use the method successfully in VB 6.0. The purpose of this is so if I have several programs or dlls that has to be recompiled, then it can do so. Let me know if you have any questions.
1. The compiled dll and the source code for the dll (complete and fully functional).
2. The source code only for the sample VB application to show this working.
Windows XP Home Edition, Windows 2000 Server Edition.
