We have a signature capture program that produces a file with co-ordinates in it. The capture area is 224 wide & 89 high.
We require a program to take the vectors and convert them into a black & white bitmap of the same size. By black and white I mean the bitmap does not require a large color pallete we need to keep the bitmap size as small as possible.
The program needs to be written in VC++ as a dll so that we can call it from another process and pass in a string with the co-ordinates, the height of the bitmap, the width of the bitmap and the output bitmap file name.
The co-ordinates will be passed into the function in the same form that they are in the example Signature node of the xml in the zip file.
The code needs to be clearly documented and should not use MFC.
The result should include a test program that can demonstrate the functionality by calling the dll and producing an output file with a simple X on it.
The [url removed, login to view] has an xml file with the co-ordinates for 2 Xs to be drawn onto the bitmap.
The co-ordinates do not include color. They are in (X,Y) start and (X.Y) end pairs. A line should connect the start and end. For example, the co-ordinates "76 24 76 22 76 22 76 19 76 19"
should draw a line from 76,24 to 76,22 and from 76,22 to 76,19.
