| | I have a very simple webpage in which I want to use the arrow keys, along with the enter key, to navigate through the different elements in the page.
I am 99% done with this project, but I need some help finishing it. This will hopefully be the beginning of a long-lasting business relationship.
I have created two hidden variables on the page; one for position and one that contains a delimited list of page elements, with a prefix letting me know if they should be enabled. I have a function that overrides the enter key to only submit when it's on one of the textboxes and the submit button. The right and down arrow buttons are used to progress to the 'next' element (not necessarily the next TabIndex), and the up/left buttons go up. They navigation buttons do nothing if it's reached the top or bottom of the page element list (example: pressing up on the first field does nothing).
I am going to disconnect the project from the database and hard-code some values in for the data...so no database connectivity will be required. So it's simple enough to finish using only notepad.
I need this by Sunday evening, Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5, i think). This is very important. It shouldn't take an experienced ASP.NET programmer more than an hour or so, but I'm just learning. My code is very well commented.
Please respond with any questions and only reasonable offers will be accepted.
Thanks for your time!
