An existing C# web application needs a modification that will allow PDFs to be printed from the web server to the default printer.? The PDFs will be displayed on screen in a grid view type control with one column with a checkbox indicating if the document on the grid view row? should be printed silently on the default printer without user intervention or the user receiving a printer dialog box.
The silent printing should also not leave a window open that requires user interaction to close it.
The solution should not contain any third party controls or server controls that require heightened security privileges like an administrator account.
I am looking for a C# code solution that I can add to a button event that cycles through each row in the grid view, checks to see if the checkbox is checked and if so the silent printing takes place for that document.
