General:

The problem that this application needs to solve, is to help business owners whom use social networks compose, deliver, and track "campaigns" or series' of messages that update their social network status', blogs, social bookmarks etc. on a scheduled basis. And such campaign can be set to "re-occur" on a scheduled basis.

It's very similar to CRM functions for Social Networks.

This "scheduling" (similar to "[url removed, login to view]") and "Campaign" building (similar to [url removed, login to view] etc) will combine to create an automated marketing solution for business owner looking for prospects.

I don't think that there are any commercially available applications that solve this problem yet, but it's (in general) a hybrid of the functions of:

LetterMeLater, and [url removed, login to view], with the additional functions of building "campaigns" for the updates, and adding a robust "reporting" module that will track the resulting clicks of embedded links in the "tweet" or status update, and a user management module that can bill users for their subscription monthly etc.

Essential Functions:

-User interface and “account” module that manages the user's subscription (integrate with payment gateway (paypal or other) for recurring subscription billing.

-3 Service levels (with certain functions/features turned on or off, and number of messages limited per/user level)

-Either integrate with [url removed, login to view], or clone all [url removed, login to view] functions (ability to set up your log in's for each network, and post updates through the networks API)

-Ability for user to build "Campaigns", which include messages and links (that we need to be able to track clicks)

-Ability to schedule Campaigns with multiple messages per day

-Reporting features to monitor the resulting clicks on each link in each message to the network

This application needs to be developed in a manner that will allow additional features to be developed and implemented in the future.

Please provide your thoughts, and perhaps relevant samples of similar works if available.

Thanks!
