just moved my site to a new server and fixing up paths in my php script and ran into a problem i cannot figure out how to solve. (i am a beginner at php)
one of my php scripts needs to read from and copy files to an .htaccess protected members area. on my old server, using this syntax worked http://user:pw("at" symbol)[login to view URL]
on my new server, that syntax does not seem to work even when i type it into my browser.
this job is just solve this particular problem but i'm sure there will be many others so it should lead to more work with my sites.
is there some way to make that syntax work on my new server?
if not, how do i accomplish what i need to do?
also, here's another line that doesnt seem to be working.
also, the copy command (using the path) doesnt seem to work either.
thanks!
