Remove Background from image

Hi! I'd like the background removed from the picture (leaving only the two people standing) and replaced with a solid colour.
I've attached the original (19MB) and the colour liked - although this may change when we see the final image. We'll be creating a canvas print so likely will zoom in, but thought it best to send the full image. If you have any questions, please let me know.
