Security Engineer

We are looking for a highly capable Security Engineer to work with us on the implementation and enforcement of information security policies, including the implementation of network and systems security controls. The Security Engineer will also support IT operations utilizing various security tools and platforms and will analyze the network, systems, processes, and procedures to continuously enhance and streamline the operations and automate where applicable. * Responsibilities Includes Implement, enforce, and refine EdgeUno’s information security policy. Perform vulnerability management for EdgeUno and its customers. Operate EdgeUno’s SIEM platform. Perform security incident response. Perform regular pentests for EdgeUno and its customers. Engineer the design, deployment, operation of corporate security systems. Advance enterprise security through customization of systems, automation of processes, and collaboration with product teams. Perform research, evaluation, and expert judgement for product security planning. * Requirements English Level B2+ is a must 4+ years of experience in similar positions Advanced knowledge in computer and network security Strong experience in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and reporting Strong experience with vulnerability management systems Strong experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms Strong Linux system administration and hardening experience Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Perl or Python) Experience in securing cloud-based platforms and private clouds Willingness to challenge existing thinking in a constructive way to improve * Preferred Qualifications Experience with vulnerability management systems Proven experience with network telemetry (NetFlow, IPFIX) and associated platforms (e.g. Kentik) Proven experience with Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems (Okta) Strong programming experience and skills set Experience with using and/or developing REST APIs 3+ years of experience working in a software engineering or development role BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field (or equivalent experience) * Benefits Work from home More info at: [login to view URL]
