Send me two or three of the worst-looking pages and I'll return the .docx for free, so you can judge the quality before you commit to anything. My price is the lowest here and I'll be straight about why: I'm new on this platform, and a real review is worth more to me right now than the money. Tools, since you asked: OCR first, with each page deskewed and the contrast fixed so the engine has a fair chance, then a manual proof pass against the original. I don't hand over raw OCR output, that's where the typos live. Headings, bold and italics get rebuilt as real Word styles rather than hand-applied formatting, so you can restyle the whole document later in one move. Bullets and simple tables come across as actual Word bullets and tables, not rows of spaces. Pace: 30 to 40 pages a day comfortably, more when the scans are clean.
