Proposal: Windows Desktop OCR → Excel Extract + Reconciliation (Python) Hello, I will build a native Windows 10/11 desktop application in Python that batch‑processes JPG files, performs OCR, structures content into an .xlsx workbook, and auto‑reconciles it against a master Excel you supply at run time. The app will be lightweight, accurate, and easy to use—no paid licenses. Reconciliation Against Master Workbook At run time, user selects the master .xlsx. Smart matching via pandas merges: configurable key fields (exact), plus optional fuzzy matching (RapidFuzz) for near‑duplicates. Output workbook (single file): Sheet 1 – “Matched”: rows present in both sources, with side‑by‑side columns and highlight rules. Sheet 2 – “Unmatched”: rows unique to either source, highlighted and labeled with origin (Master / New Extract). Clear color‑coding legend built into the top of each sheet.
