SelfControl ([url removed, login to view]) is an open source OS X application which blocks access to mail servers and websites for a predetermined period of time. It can not be undone by the app or by a restart – one must wait for the timer to run out. It's really a great software that helps productivity.
I'm looking for programmers that could add a feature to this software. It's available in GitHub here : [url removed, login to view]
The feature I want is the ability to choose the network interface inside the software main screen. I've thought about a very simple simple dropdown box with a list of all network interfaces available (using ifconfig, for example?) plus an ALL option in order to block access for ALL interfaces (normal behavior of the software).
It's also asked that the programmer make the new code available at github as this continues to be an open source project !
Thanks in advance !
Exemple: suppose I want the software SelfControl to block the trafic ONLY of the wifi interface. In case I really need to connect to the Internet I can go somewhere and plug the ethernet cable that is still working !
