A Big Data Solution Architect working in the Analytics team within Technology Consulting. You will be part of the cutting edge Advanced Analytics team helping to solve our clients’ problems through Big Data technology-enabled solutions. Ideally you have a background in Big Data (Hadoop, NoSQL), Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (ETL, SQL, data architecture), or Big Data application development (Python, Scala, Java) and have a strong interest in Big Data. You will help design solutions using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, MPP, and how to integrate advanced analytics platforms (e.g. data science (R, SAS) or visualisation (Tableau, Qlik)). It is expected that you already know what these technologies are, as well as what is Analytics and why is it important. We offer Big Data certification courses to ensure you have the right learning and development to support you in your role.    The Big Data Solution Architect Will Have Responsability For: Designing Big Data architectures for our clients to deliver Analytics-based solutions Interfacing between business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Advising clients how to optimise their existing Big Data platform to extract maximum value Building internal proofs of concept with the Data Science team to demonstrate to potential clients Helping to grow the Big Data practice by hosting internal training and developing others To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
